Call for Nominations

Dear Financial Members of APAMT,

This is to announce that the following Board Members completed their terms on December 31st, 2026:

Dr. Hossein Hossanian Moghaddam – Past President

Dr.Fahim Cader – Board Member

We would like to thank them for their valuable service and look forward to their continued contribution as active members of the Association.

We are now calling for nomination for candidates for a new President Elect (FY 2027/28) and Board Member (FY 2027/2030).

The call for nominations closes on 18th October 2026.

Current APAMT members in good financial standing (i.e., members who paid their membership for FY2025/2026) may propose a fellow member for consideration. The nominated member should be an APAMT regular member who is actively involved in toxicological related work in his/her area of practice and in APAMT. A balloting process will take place after the nominations, and this will decide the final selected candidate. The elected candidate for the post of President-Elect will take up the appointment in 2027 for a 6-year term period, becoming President in 2029. The elected candidate for the post of Board Member will take up the appointment in 2027 for a 4- year term period.

The elected Board Members are required to play an active role towards the growth and well-being of the association. It is important that the proposed candidates are active members and possess the vision and commitment to steer APAMT to new heights. Board members will be expected to attend at least two-thirds of the in person and virtual Board Meetings. It is also important to note that the constitution ensures that representation on the APAMT Executive Board has a degree of geographical balance.
